  Course Development

When an off-the-shelf program won't meet your needs, TAG can develop custom training based on your content. Our training developers follow a systematic instructional design process to create effective learning solutions tailored to your employees' needs and your business requirements:

Front-End Analysis
We begin with a thorough analysis of learner characteristics, including demographics, current skills and knowledge, previous training, and learning preferences. We meet with business stakeholders and content experts to understand both business requirements and the desired skill and knowledge outcomes. We also investigate your organization's learning technology infrastructure and training resources. After completing this analysis, we present recommendations in a detailed instructional design plan that includes measurable learning objectives.
Information Gathering and Validation
After your approval of the instructional design plan, we gather training content through interviews with your organization's experts, review of internal documents, and researching published information. We compile this information in a detailed report that can be validated by your organization's content experts, internal training staff, and business stakeholders.
Material Development and Review
During this phase, we develop the materials that will be produced as final training media. This material may include audiovisual scripts, storyboards for e-learning programs, training facilitator guides, lesson plans, handouts and other participant material, on-the-job aids, and evaluation tools. We provide all materials in draft form for review and approval by your organization's experts.
Media Production
After approval, we produce the appropriate training media, such as video/DVD programs, e-learning modules, and printed material. When needed, we can also develop and deliver train-the-trainer sessions to teach your internal staff how to effectively deliver the new training.

At this point we will begin production of all Audio / Video components of your program. To learn more about the media production process, please select Audio/Video Production.
